Tori Long, the bass guitarist for The Lost Junction Band, discovered her passion for music at a young age. Raised in a musically inclined family, Tori began playing various instruments at the age of 11. However, it wasn't until just before the formation of the band in 2021 that she picked up the bass guitar, quickly mastering its rhythms and melodies.
Beyond her proficiency on the bass, Tori is a multi-instrumentalist, adept at playing 13 other instruments. Her musical journey extends beyond performances with The Lost Junction Band; she actively participates in numerous musical extracurricular activities. Tori draws inspiration from a diverse array of artists including Ian Munsick, Noah Kahan, C.W. McCall, Tyler Childers, and Mt. Joy, among others.
Her creative vision transcends conventional boundaries as she aspires to not only craft mainstream music but also to compose instrumental and orchestral pieces in her spare time. Tori's deep-rooted love for the outdoors and her home state of Colorado serves as a wellspring of inspiration for her musical compositions.
Tori graduated from Grand Junction High School in 2024. She harbors plans to continue her educational journey at Colorado Mesa University, where she aims to further hone her musical talents and pursue her passion for composition. Through her music, Tori endeavors to convey the beauty and essence of Colorado's landscapes and her profound connection to nature.
